Klever Weekly Newsletter – April 8

We have an important update regarding KLV unstaking. Also, we introduced Mercuryo as a new payment method. Klever Wallet introduces Swap Token SXP while latest iOS version reintroduced Dapps Browser.

Important KLV Unstaking Announcement Update

Following community feedback, Klever has decided to remove the 7 days unstaking period for staked KLV after April 9.

Towards becoming a layer one blockchain, we must ensure the security of the network. By securing a large amount of KLV, the network becomes safer and more reliable for all users. At the same time, the unstaking of KLV is a crucial part of the migration process to the Klever Blockchain Mainnet.

The unstaking period of staked KLV after April 9 up until April 24 will be 1 hour, instead of 7 days.

After April 24, the KLV staking contract will be paused, removing the possibility to withdraw and stake.

Please make sure to unstake and withdraw your KLV before April 24!

If you were unable to unstake your KLV before April 24, please submit a support ticket and the Klever Foundation will reimburse you after 30 days.

Mercuryo on-ramp support for Klever is now live in K5

Klever Wallet has added direct payment integration into its Klever Ecosystem using Mercuryo.

It’s with great pleasure that we announce that Mercuryo is now live within the Klever ecosystem, providing fiat on-ramps directly within Klever Wallet, K5. That’s right, another fast and simple way to buy crypto, is now available in K5.

Mercuryo simplifies the world’s payment process like no other. In order to make business transactions easy and convenient, they are aiming to transform every company into a global one.

Klever Wallet K4 iOS update

Klever Wallet introduces tighter security requirements for iOS users and reintroduces the Klever Dapps Browser in our latest iOS version 4.12.4.

Security is paramount, and compliance is key

In compliance with Apple’s security policies and our own strict requirements to keep our technology safe and our users’ funds protected, K4 will use iOS 13 as the minimum iOS version moving forward. As of now, the latest version in the iOS store is 4.12.4, which sets the entry bar for K4 users at iOS 13.

iOS users from now on would require iOS 13 to download Klever Wallet K4 and any future updates.

Klever Wallet Adds New Swipe (SXP) Swap Pairs

To support our community we have introduced 9 new SXP (BEP20) swap pairs.

The Swipe (SXP) serves as the fuel for the Solar Network. It is used to pay transaction fees, as well as to bond and govern the Solar Network. Now Klever introduces The Swipe (SXP) token in Klever Wallet with 9 Swap pairs.

Available SXP BEP20 Swap pairs:

  • SXP/USDT (TRC20)
  • SXP/USDT (ERC20)
  • SXP/BUSD (BEP20)

What is Swipe (SXP)?

With its API, Swipe attempts to bridge the fiat and cryptocurrency worlds and create global payment cards based on its native SXP token.

Using its API, Swipe enables real-time cryptocurrency to fiat conversions with just a swipe of a debit card at a point of sale or e-commerce transaction, enabling a frictionless user experience.

BTC/USDT is available on Klever Swap now!

To make the lives of our community even better, the swap services on the Klever wallet take another important step, BTC/USDT.

To develop blockchain applications rapidly in the world we are living in today, the required intuition is crucial.

One of the major pairs in our Klever swap feature is the BTC/USDT pair which enables the users to swap Bitcoin (BTC) into Tether (USDT) in a very seamless manner with the commensurate funds credited to the users’ wallet.

These processes are all performed within the user’s wallet where there is no need for  Know your customers (KYC) or any form of registration to execute the transactions.

A new feature-packed, Klever Wallet is coming

Klever Wallet K5 with its features is going to set a benchmark for all crypto wallets operating today.

With experience of over a few years in offering crypto wallet service, Klever Wallet has come a long way and has become one of the fastest growing crypto wallets today.

Over 3.5 million users on the Klever platform are using Klever Wallet for storing, swapping, and securing their crypto assets.

Klever Wallet is just one part of the Klever Ecosystem which has NFTs, a crypto exchange, a hardware wallet (Klever Safe), and its own chain – KleverChain (currently under testing) – which provides holistic development of blockchain technology.

Speaking on what is new, Vitor Pereira, Wallet – Product Manager said:

“The wallet which is coming will not only scale the application, but will also add new functionalities. We want to make something that keeps itself sustainable for 5 – 10 years to come.”
